The owner and maker of Zen Zalea Botanicals, Hailey Glatz, has a background in Skincare, Aromatherapy, Restaurant Management & Food Service. Raised by Esthetician & Salon-Owner parents, she was born into the world of Skincare from the start. At the age of 16 Hailey attended Cosmo Beauty Academy for her Cosmetologist License with 1600 hours of training. In 2011 she took an in-person course in Sacramento on Body Creams and Lotions, which was the catalyst of formulating her own skincare. By the end of the same year, Hailey's Handmade Bath Co. was born, and she was offering her handmade goods at several local shops and salons. Fourteen years later, not only we have evolved into Zen Zalea Botanicals, but we also hold the same principals and always  seek to provide gentle, luxurious items without unnecessary harsh additives commonly used by mass producers. Our key focuses are sustainability, inclusivity, and breaking the cycle of hazardous chemical use. Our goods are created by hand in small batches always by Hailey Glatz, featuring clean, natural ingredients and lots of love. Our products are made with sustainable, clean ingredients, meaning you can feel good about what you're using. The name Zen Zalea is derived from Hailey's Children's middle names 'Zen' & 'Azalea'.
